The content on this site

Foolscap is an editorial journal. Everything published here reflects the personal experience and opinion of the writer, and is offered for general information about household organization — it is not professional archival, legal, or financial advice, and no entry should be treated as a guarantee of any particular outcome.

Acceptable use

You're welcome to read, link to, and share entries from Foolscap. Please don't republish full entries elsewhere without asking us first, scrape the site at a rate that disrupts it for other readers, or use the site to distribute anything unlawful.

Ownership

Text, illustrations, and the Foolscap name and mark belong to the site unless otherwise noted. Quoting a short passage with a link back is fine and appreciated.

Third-party links

Some entries link to outside resources for further reading. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or their own terms and privacy practices.

Boxlist

References to Boxlist on this site are descriptive, not a binding offer of any specific feature set at any specific time. Details on the app page are provided for informational purposes and may change as the tool develops.

No warranty

Foolscap is provided as-is. We do our best to keep entries accurate and to correct errors readers point out, but we make no warranty that any method described here will produce a particular result for your own archive.
